Thief Question

Back to UO after years away. Looking to try a thief but never had. What is the desired template these days? Looking at probably stealing from mods in dungeons and maybe also players. Is a disarm thief the way to go? If so what should my template look like and what stats should I aim for? Thank you for any help.

If you want my advice, stealing from mobs is slower than just killing them, I use my thief only at champs, rdas, events and bosses (arch demon, warlock, akor etc.) and steal power scrolls and relics. Here's my template

Tracking is great for tracking people at the top of the damage list at champs and making off with their loots. Careful while stealing powerscrolls though, there's a 50/50 shot it will dismount you. But only powerscrolls are like this, it's stupid if you ask me, no changes are made for reds that kill and take scrolls, but thiefs get nerfed hard for trying to do it another way
