If a thief is in a faction, can they kill opposing factioners without being booted from the thieves guild?

I believe so, because you can't give murder counts if killed by an opposing faction.... Right?

You can even kill ppl that attack you after you steal from them. This use to be one of my favorite templates for a good laugh. Just don't take a murder count and you're good.
