Hello,

I just started UO yesterday evening and basically I have 10000 questions. But fortunately there are wiki´s which are suitable for most of my questions...but not for all:


I just left the beginners dungeon and now I would like to mine some ore. Unluckily I got killed about 10 times by bandits while trying to mine north of Britania. Now I would like to know what I have to do to stop beeing disturbed by these death-thing all the time.

Brit is never a good area really. if you want o mine in relative peace i would try Cove or Minoc

Also do not forget. You can mine from the little ore deposits all over in the woods as well. So you can mine in guard zone in several places. Minoc town has tons of those deposits right in guard zone.

What they said, I mined in minoc in the cave and only died once while I Gm'd mining.You can also get a few packys and go to the cliffs which are just a little farther down... less people means more ore!
