Thanksgiving Idea

With Thanksgiving is right around the corner, I'd think it'd be nice to see some turkeys scooting around. I am not sure if this has been done before, but I didn't see anything mentioned in my forum search. Could just be re-skinned birds or harpies with the same loot tables but with a chance to drop a turkey statuette.

Is there a UOF Thanksgiving gathering/feast?

This has gone so far away from turkeys ....it's great.

The turkey event was awesome when you all had the galleons in for the first time. We should do that again.

They shot 100 damage fireballs and were in bus den.

It was more like 30hp fireballs, but they shot them a half second a part from each other. Basically it was a fire ball machine gun turkey. It was a great event though and I killed hundreds of those suckers while avoiding PK groups.

Like @Skye Wolfbane said, the event was great. What made it even better was no one could just restock and jump back in after dying because there were no working ankhs on the island and you had to take a boat to even get on the island (it was no recall - no gate). This means that no one was able to just log onto another char and continue the fight in a few seconds like you see today.

They had like 60hp, so you could easily kill one with no problem - assuming you stay alive long enough to do so.

Most people complained because the turkeys could shoot fireballs fast enough to interrupt nearly any spell. You had to precast off screen, then run up to a turkey and drop it.
