One of the few things uoforever does better.
Put in a uoforever equivalent system and instantly increase the player base - only reason 7 of my guildies aren't here...
Not only would it increase donos to the shard heavily, but also add as a small gold sink given what the house takes.
Please don't lock this thread, it's a big issue that plenty of players want.

exactly... its gettin brought up over and over again because we would love to see it..... some of us log in over there just to play poker...... could you imagine the spike if we had a actual system over here????????? not to change subjects but we are the only guild that does pvp here, we'd welcome other guilds to fight daily btw....
only thing for us players to do when we are bored.... look for idocs, look for rdas, do a champ spawn, afk bank/dock sit....... PS PS PS PS everything revolves around that.... you want to give a chance for new players to become rich? old ones to lose gold possibly, i dont see how POKER can "ruin

At the very least I'd love an expanded casino area with blackjack, roulette, craps, etc instead of just slots

Only problem with poker is once people sell all they have to play poker and lose they quit the server. I loved poker and it's all I did on uoforever but I do think it loses more players then it gains. I'd still love some high limit poker tables. And Shane if you wanted a huge increase to donations id imagine poker tables would cause donating to jump a ton hah

I think it would be a great idea and would drive people to come online "passively" (i.e. watching tv and casually playing poker, people who can use a PC at work, etc.) and it also provides a continuous gold-sink from the rake.
I would say the majority of people would not go on and gamble all of their money and then quit when they lose. The majority would enjoy it responsibly and a minority would abuse it. Casino's aren't being closed in real life for that minority that loses it all and that affects real lives in big ways. This is fake money on a game and just for entertainment purposes. Just know your limit and play within it!
