Well I got sunk on my boat and my ghost was teleported to land and I ended up inside the walls of a keep with no way out apart from the stuck option on the help menu.
Had something similar happen to me when I got sunk. Except when I died I was teleported to a castle courtyard on ice with all the exits blocked with kegs. Had to "seek forgiveness".
