Talisman Skill slot

Hi i've been searhing but to no prevail, so this might be a noobish question. Pls bear with me.

I just got my first relic and lvled it up. Just saw there is a "skill slots" upon opening the talisman and now its 1/2. Wht does tht mean?
How do i use that "skill"?

You can only add relics when your talisman is at certain levels (1,4,7,10 i believe off the top of my head) so your talisman is currently between 4-6 which means you have added 1 of the 2 available slots or 1/2.

Oh and is it possible to add the same relic to diff spots? Ie: at lvl 10, have 4 vivify equipped? Tyty

Can only use each type of relic once. The relic has to correspond to the talisman as well. Ie. Mage relic for mage talisman and defense relic for defense talisman.
Currently reach talisman only had 4 relic options so a complete talisman looks the same as any other complete talisman of that type.
