Steam low volume

So recently I've noticed that my in-game volume is abnormally low. I've checked the speakers and they work fine with all other computer applications, but when using steam I can barely hear anything. I've checked the various tabs in steam, and in my paperdoll options. Can't seem to fix the issue. Any ideas?

Did you try the volume adjustments within the UO Client itself? There should be a SPX and Music volume bars in the settings.

Yeah, that's what I meant by paperdoll options.

Not unless it's like a 3 week long call lol.
It's only in UO though, audio for everything else is normal; movies, music, speaker test, etc. and everything within the game window looks good, which is why I assume it's a problem with steam.

Hmm, did you check your windows mixer to make sure that specific application volume is up?

Andddd problem solved. UOSteam application sound was turned down. Thanks for the help!

Haha that's what I was going to say. Skype turns down my volume and I have to open my windows mixer to fix it. On mine it stays like that so it's really annoying
