Yeah the pack horse is the dumb way to do it.. Although it used to be such the rage.
Now a days, just put a bag on the ground with a correctly weighted pouch in it and steal the pouch. Put it back in the bag on the ground and repeat. Add more weight when you skill is high enough for further difficulty. You can GM it in a day or so that way. The random houses outside of nu'jelm are a good out of the way place to macro it.

You don't even have to do all that.
Buy 20 empty bottles, put it in a bag on the ground, open the bag, steal the bottles, put them back in the bag, move the bag(to avoid decay) repeat. Think razor lovin' here....
