Stealing Can't Be Used at Brit WB?

Seems like in the past couple of days the stealing skill has been disabled inside or on top of the WBB.

Anyone else noticing this or am I bugged?

I'm getting the "That Skill Can't Be Used Here" message.

I think I accidentally ate a trammel stone or something. How do I get back to Fel?

Scripted Xmas present stealing was fucking up a lot of people's days. The stealing thing sucks for a couple people, max.

It will get fixed, but a small leak doesn't have the same urgency as a collapsed levy.

I totally agree with their reasoning behind this. I didn't realize that's why it had happened.

That said... I'm ready to get back to stealing skin dyes and SS' at the bank.

hit up moonglow, skara, Occlo they are fairly busy and people are more careless. If you are patient serps hold is one of my favorite banks to lurk around.

I've been sneaking around Yew bank and Moonglow. Occlo is a good idea.

I like the poker tables. People always seem to forget they have valuable items on them after they go broke on the poker table.

Interesting I didn't realize keeping the Xmas presents up for a longer amount of time =a collapsed levy.

It's a metaphor?

The 'leak' is a few people who can't steal from WBB for a couple days.

The 'collapsed levy' is upwards of 50, and probably more like 100+ people who got their gift stolen by script users/abusers.

I don't do the coding but I doubt it's a quick and simple fix to redo the code for the Xmas presents on the fly, the day of Christmas.

It's called triage: given limited resources you have to decide which problems you deal with right away and how, and what has to wait.

Gotcha, thought you were comparing extended presents giveaway as a broken levy and stealing shut off as a leak. I just commented thinking when the presents were shut off it would have been just as easy to restore stealing at WBB.

I had to fly out of state for Christmas... does that mean I don't get presents?! They should reopen the gifting just for me!
