Do something along the lines of turning in a certain amount of normal hue statues to obtain a higher level color. After each level it will get harder to obtain and it would bring statue prices back. At this point I literally leave half of them I see while doing champs/farming. They are not worth the clutter or the hassle selling unless it's a rare hue.
