Starting my red

I always wanted a red never had the know how it's more that just run up and attack well my comp crashed had to re download uo. Doing so allllllllll my previous set keys are gone giving me a clean slate across the board.
Please post ur hot keys u use in battle. I use razor. Tia

I open my spellbook and click through to the spell each time, like a REAL UO man

OP, my keys are set up generally like this:

Ctrl+q, w, e, a, s, d etc: offensive spells
Alt+q, w, e etc: healing/defensive/buffs
1,2,3 etc potions
Shift+ q, w, e etc: abilities (shift+s:toggle stun)
F1-f8 skills
Ctrl+caps set last target
Ctrl+~ last target
Ctrl+f1attack last target
Ctrl+f2-f5 targeting hotkeys

If I bother with a mouse I change the mouse buttons to be the targeting keys, plus one key for mic.

I'm also pretty shit at pvp, but having all the keys on one side helps when I'm spazzing out in turbo panic mode. I'm sure someone will point out why my key setup is shit, but whatever.

Believe it or not, of all the people I have seen your layout makes by far the most sense and is most comparable to my own.

The things some people do to themselves with their hotkeys...I'll never understand it. It's like playing with a half-sized game window. Mind blowing.

Wow I been playing g the same set up for like 15 years, these are way better, I think it's to late though, these buttons of mine are imprinted in my brain

My setup is like this. Keep fingers on numbers and move fingers up or down for additional keys.

F1-F8 - support spells and skills
1-7 - direct attack spells
QWERTY - Buffs/heal and targeting
Tilde - mini heal
Tab - war mode (of course)
Space - bandaid or stun

Other random stuff on cntrl+ keys

Exactly, i like my uo simple. Although i appreciate the complexity it offers, this is why uo is still effing awesome

This is basically my exact setup, except he has some weird target keys to me. I use 0 as target self and all my set/target "others" keys on my mouse. Also my ~ is set for explosion pot instead of mini-heal self. I dont even use mini-heal self macro.

Mine is almost exactly this just spells moved around some, but all my pots/targeting is done via my mouse it is one of those crazy ass mouse with 12 side buttons, and it's amazing.

I appreciate all input keep it coming I've come to notice when being attacked now I don't fat finger and hit hover key known to man I've calmed some and my heart doesn't blast outta my chest lol
