Smelt Colored Metal Armor & Weapons?

I'm at 100 blacksmithing and can't smelt shadow iron armor. Is it even possible to smelt non-iron weapons & armor?

You need Mining.
0+ Iron Ore
65: Dull Copper Ore
70: Shadow Iron Ore
75: Copper Ore
80: Bronze Ore
85: Golden Ore
90: Agapite Ore
95: Verite Ore
99: Valorite Ore

Thanks, Blaine. But I'm talking about smelting down armor and weapons not straight ore.

You still need mining to do it.

Thanks, Blaine. Confirmed. Zero blacksmith required, just mining. A bit odd (and annoying) to have to hop on another character to smelt non-exceptional items down. It's just a time sink.
