Skill reset for lvl 6 metas

So now lvl 7 metas can get a skill reset every 2m exp which is super cool.

But what about those people that deliberately WANT to keep their metas at lvl 6?

I agree that it could be OP to have a skill reset every 2m on a lvl 6 meta, but what about this:

Every time you reach 3m exp on your level 6 meta (and it's a fuckton of hours spent farming, this won't happen every 2 weeks lol) you get a gump with the following options

A) Evolve to lvl 7 (you will need 120 taming ofc)
B) Reset your exp to zero and get a skill refresh
C) Keep gaining exp and wait till you get to 120 taming but you won't be able to use skill reset

People who plan on upgrading will never use this feat, but i know quite a few people who prefer a lvl 6 with 100% control rather than a lvl 7 which will barely listen unless you farm 18 mil exp.


Please @eppy makes this happen and i won't even be mad any more about the fact that nox relic is super ass

Because lvl 5 has zero advantages over lvl 6 while lvl6 has some advantages and some downsides to lvl 7 so many people would like to keep lvl 6

I will not discredit your suggestion, because I see what you are saying. I would say, however, that maybe locking your meta at level 6 may not be the correct suggestion to make. Maybe your real complaint is with having no reason to go to level 7.

how does strength on a level 7 meta pet work? does it ever increase over time? i noticed all the other ones i lore are a good bit better, am i just stuck with a bad roll?

The way I see it level 7 costs 10 mil more than a level 6. with that you're get a damage increase, small HP increase, a relic slot, and skill resets.

If you wanna be cheep and not pay the price to have a level 7 you shouldn't get the rewards.

also its only 16 mil exp to get like 94% control. But if you have qs that's like a month of farming

No trolling intended lollo but I have no idea how people still have issues with control at level 7.
All guard me and attacking a mob works just fine, having to spam "all follow me" when recalling out...you do that even at lvl 1-6 out of tamer paranoia.

16 mil exp in one month? Yeah maybe if you farm 5-6 Hours a day. Honestly i did 3m in close to 2 months lol

I get 100-150k exp an hour with my level 7 so yea about 5 hours a day. Wasn't saying it would be easy just that it can be done

Why not just put up the 10 mil and get a level 7?

I like to be able to defend my self and pvp while i am farming, and a lvl 7 won't listen good enough! And it'll be 2017 before i make 18m exp hehe

Who the fuck plays UO to farm 5-6hours a day?

majority of playerbase want things that are easy only if you farm way more than 5 at day, you think that who donated LOT made it for shard health? =)

I have to say, I love how beastly my lvl 7 is. However, I think it's very ugly. The color is amazing but ancient wyrms are ugly. It's the reason why I didn't lvl mine quicker because I like the dragon look. Now.......if they looked like Fafnir!!! Or Akor!!! *purrs* those are sexy beasts and everyone would want a 7.
Not saying you should change them because that probably isn't easy. But I can dream.

cant get level 7 without 120 taming. wont evolve not sure on the other levels.
