That information is not accurate here. Staff was pretty tight-lipped about the numbers but they did adjust them because lots of people were making 70 tailors to farm BOD cloth.
You want to take your BOD runners to GM, that much I know. Beyond that, the higher your skill the better your chance to pull exc deeds and LBODs. I do not think color is effected by skill value but I may be wrong.
And beyond that you can pull BODs every 5 hrs with 120 skill as opposed to 6 hrs with less.
Max skill = best odds for runics.

I should mention that you'll still pull good deeds with a GM runner...mine got a 20x Agapite LBOD last week (ringmail unfortunately, 120 BS reward)...just not as often as if you are at cap. Definitely take it to at least 100.

i think there is already a system that they could play with.... i have colored weapon Lbods... i assume there is or can be colored small weps, this could have many possibilities... runic armor maybe

BODs have always been a psuedo-science. Every time I think a tweak has been made, pretty much every time I have a long hot streak, the rug gets pulled out from under me and it's shit deeds for a month. Can't tell you how many times all the big dogs in the crafting game have said the same thing. I know you've felt it. Any and all experiments will likely be inconclusive because of that ebb and flow of pulls.
I think all we should do is pray to the RNG gods.

also 120 mining is useless, when you can just equip +5 mining gloves and do anything you need to with 120 mining, more worthless PS on UOF

Nice post and replies. Got me to get my bod runner to gm. Much easier than I remember. Those orc cave forges really did the trick when making gorgets and made some good gold making slayer short spears

I will say that it's nice to not have to risk +5 gloves every time I mine RDA crystals.
I only ever lost one pair and that was back in the day when POWER was logging out in them, didn't need them but I forgot to take them off thinking that one of the most obscure locations for an RDA ever would be safe. Turns out not so much, haha. But now that they are in hotspots and all RDAs are found within 25 minutes and finished within an hour that's a concern again.

Aside from mining crystals, you can actually equip +1 gloves and one-shot a pile of valorite ore with only 110 mining. Or maybe you need +3 gloves I can't remember. Either way it's dumb as hell and devalues the PS big time.
