What happens if you die on your ship but your ship is not sunk??

you can use the help stuck function to get back to the mainland. and if you stashed your boat rune previously you can get back to it

Put the rune on a second character(second account) so you can gate your ghost off.

I was under the impression you couldn't gate on boats, was i wrong?

you can send a gate from a ship, but not onto one.i just leave my rune at my house then help stuck to a healer, then use recall scroll to my house and then i recall off the rune which remains in the chest back onto the ship.. or yes an alt could help
