You're correct but GMs have been known to do it in more than one occasion. So page (or log IRC) and ask, i'm sure they can help you

Well it is a decent deal but most people who can spend that money on an egg already have a lvl 6 or 7 meta and just want the egg to change the pet's color.

Going from lvl 3 to lvl 6 is a real pain and i'd never do it again even if the color is lovely =D

True I wouldn't call it a pain if you have the time to level, that's a pain when you just don't have time. I have like 10 to 20 hrs a week to play uo the rest i either work or have side jobs to do or help people

That's my same problem i'm lucky if i have 10-15 hours in a week.
