Screen blinks

Hi I haven't played uo in like 5 years. I just downloaded the client and started playing but my screen blinks like every 15 sec's and its really annoying. Can anyone help? Im running wins 8

Also I don't know the password to one of my accounts here im not sure if its my main account or not, I paged in game but I went afk the guy new what account I wanted without even telling him. he told me to page agin when im back or make a post on forums

This happens on razor when running win7 or higher. There is a "fix" you can do but it is basically turning off all windows effects.

You might try using UOSteam as your launching application as its stable in Windows 7/8/10

If you are using Razor and playing at full screen instead of windowed, the blinking issue could be due to the title bar display. Under 'Display/Counters' tab uncheck 'Show this in the UO bar:'

hey boss, do you know how to do this on Win10? been having this issue forever, freezes when i switch between browsers and clients, sais not responding, and either have to wait like 45 seconds or uncheck and check Negotiate features with Server on Razor.

Not sure. I haven't used razor at all since I upgraded to win10.

Probably like win7 has something to do with the visual effects of Windows.

Yea I made the switch to uo steam. Just need to figure it out for screen size and some targeting macros and trying to get on irc but gotta figure that out to lol. Thanks though

In razor, were you using the display bar to show regs, health, pots count, AND in full screen mode?

In steam I use 860x640 forced size and it looks pretty good, even for my eyes.
