Can someone please explain what each runic hammer will produce...

i was kinda upset when i crafted a couple katanas with a shadow runic that had no other properties on them other than exceptional.

Did you use Shadow ingots?

You must use the same colour ingots as the hammer - shadow hammer = use shadow ingots.

yes be sure to select the right metal before you craft...I've lost a few gold charges like that being careless.

I tried a cheap little dull copper hammer and made some dull copper plate. The result was armor with half the ar value of iron. What is up with that?
