Remove the meta dexxer cooldown

I honestly don't understand why meta dexxers have a 15 minute cooldown after they die before being able to use their talisman abilities. Please remove this cool-down!

There's no cooldown on meta pets' abilities, so why meta dexxer?

Once you die on your dexxer it's ridiculous to have to wait 15 minutes while at a champ spawn/RDA/arch demon/farming/etc. before you're getting good points again. These are time sensitive things and it just makes me want to log off my meta dexxer once he dies.

You can pay the 10k at the statue to remove the cooldown, but why is it necessary for me to have to pay and remove the cooldown? It's also a pain in the ass to have to get yourself to the statue and pay after getting a rez. If you die a few times it can get expensive.

It's a ridiculously long grind to level up the meta dexxer talisman - more work than training a meta dragon. So why are the dexxers penalized with this cooldown?

it really is tho this is why i stopped the meta life just isn't for me, i gotta say its great content and very well done. i did get my meta mage to level 8 with the 3 major relics. wish you could sell your talisman w/relics like you can a meta pet @eppy

I'm not bitching about meta dexxer taking so long to gain to level 10, it's meant to take a long time. The results are definitely worth it.

I'm saying that meta pets have no cooldown, my pet is rezzed and fully functional with all relics. However, when rezzing my dexxer I have to wait 15 minutes to use his relic abilities or else I have to recall to the stone, pay 10k, then recall back.

If you must drain gold then please make something just like a meta stone but for meta dexxers... call it a dexxer stone and charge us 10k for "dexxer powder" which will just eliminate the cooldown and let you use abilities right away.

makes sense imo...talisman cool down can be super griefy especially at arch daemon or rikktor, its like getting statted on a red and it just makes me want to log off

yeah, in terms of balance he's right. RDA's are finished in less than 15 mins these days. We got god awful tamer guilds 50 strong rollin on 4 10's in relics levels on a quick bandage rez up and back in the fight??

I support the idea of being able to pay your tribute ahead of time. I would suggest you can place up to 10 charges on your tali at the statue and can then use them at any time.

Which Tbh would result in a much better gold sink since often I don't both with hitting the statue because whatever I'm doing is almost over whereas if I could just hit tithe on my tali once I've looted my stuff it is way more likely to happen.

It's not supposed to be about sinking gold. It's supposed to be about skill requirements to be able to get the bonus. Same reason why pets lose stats.

Of course if you want to do something else to benefit the shard, like sink gold or join factions, then you can catch a break on this. I mean by paying the statue, or for tamers you can join factions and pay to rez pets.

I don't want to see the cooldown removed, but wouldn't mind seeing it lowered a bit. For tamers less stat loss too. Cuz it's a game it's supposed to be fun, and because my sex doesn't even last 15 minutes.

I like the cooldown. It encourages people to be deliberate and skilled with their char. Same thing with meta pets. You have to care for your pets because of skill loss. If skill loss didn't exist, people would just carelessly toss their pets in the middle of the champs and hope for the best. Res, rinse, repeat. Same thing with meta dexers, I can imagine a bunch of shit dexers with bandaids and a kryss (this is how the arch daemon used to be). The cooldown separates the men from the boys.

It was introduced to let me know when to log off... As soon as I die, I log out!!

Main point here is that 15 minutes is too long for a cooldown. You'll still achieve the goal of players being more skilled and tactical to avoid dying with a 5 minute cooldown because 5 minutes is still a pain in the ass to sit and wait or to play but while being much less useful and getting a lot less points (champs/RDA/arch/fafnir/akor).

Even at 5 minutes I'll pay 10k half the time because I want to get back into the action right away - although it's still annoying to have to recall to the statue to pay then recall back to where I was playing, which is why I think having a chargeable stone to "pre-pay" the tribute would be awesome.

Most importantly in this suggestion - for those who don't have the money to pay 10k every time they die to avoid the 15 minute cooldown, dying would no longer mean "screw it im logging out, no way I'm not waiting 15 minutes to be useful again" as a few people in this thread already mentioned they do.

There seems to be a lot of people who agree with this concept. Would be great to have staff weigh in on this suggestion since they painstaking built meta dexxers! (Thanks again to the staff for all their work on meta dexxers it's an awesome addition to this game and keeps me interested).

I had suggested the same additional leveling idea that metas have. 5 additional levels each reducing the cooldown by 2mins.
