Releasing a meta?

If I release a meta with relic and stone,

- the egg goes in the bank,
- the stone stays where it is,
- and the relic goes poof.

Is that true?

If so: Can I take an applied relic off a meta?

Egg goes into your pack

Stone becomes unlinked and relic remains on stone but cannot be linked to a different pet

Relics cannot be removed and reused, they can only be deletes
