Anyone know the value of this? I'm considering selling it if it's worth anything.

Not worth anything really, 999g is the highest I have seen them for on a vendor.

Am I missing something here? I'm pretty sure you can just dye an orc helm red (or any other color) using a leather dye tub... so price would be the same as any other orc helm.

Close but not quite, you use an ID wand on an unidentified orc helm and it changes colors. They are a dime a dozen

Saw one on a vendor for 25k once. Had a good hearty laugh.

I had them on the vendor at 300 each and they moved quickly. Sure I could have raised the price looking back on it.
