250k is cheap now, there is an active value of 350k on the +1 Taming SSs. Hold off for more than 250k for sure, since a lot of people who buy for 250k now will just resell and make 100k profit.

it sucks they skyrocketed like this...but I guess if the drop rate really slowed down then I guess it makes sense. guess ill hold off on taming til it comes back down!

The drop rate didn't change. There was just two wealthy players making a new tamer so they raised because of the demand.

The rate actually did not change. It has stayed the same. What you are referring to: http://uoforum.com/threads/publish-4-september-5-2014-meta-pets-pvp-tweaks-and-more.42697/ is only detailing which skill scrolls have the slower drop rate, not that the drop rate applied to them is anything new.

Yes but with the introduction of 11 new ss the drop rate is reduced due to percentages...

Exactly my thoughts... maybe the direct drop rate on the Taming SSs wasn't decreased, but by introducing more SSs to the pool there is now an indirect reduced drop rate due to the increased chances of getting an SS other than a Taming SS.
So indirectly, yes, the drop rate has been reduced unless they increased the percentage on the Taming SS drop rate when they introduced all of the new SSs to counter this fact.
