I recently took a character from 0 to 100 Magery, and tracked the total reagent's used.
In the process I also GM'd Eval, Meditation and got to 80 Resist.
All skills were purchased to maximum from NPC's. Magery started at 48.1.
Here was my spell usage:
48.1-57 - Mana Drain
57 - 77 - Invisibility
77-100 - Mana Vampire
It took about 12 hours, and I used the following regs:
Spiders Silk: 1625
Nightshade: 625
Blood Moss: 2200
Black Pearl: 1625
Mandrake Root: 1625
Zero of everything else.
Total cost at normal prices (3-5gp) was 30,000
