Rares system?

Hello, I am a new player looking for a shard to play on and had a question. Does UOForever have a good stealable rares system in place?

I like what I've heard about the PvP on this shard, but can't seem to find much with regards to stealing rares (one of my favorite hobbies in UO). A forum search has turned up items that seem to be from monster drops and events, but not from a rares system. Other posts have said that the rares system has been disabled?

Yea after the Mess with the Expansion.. They Disabled the Uberscript Rares again.. And there Main Goal was focussing on the Lag Issuse that was came from the Core.. I think so far the Core Issue is fixxed and they doing really good on it the new RareSystem will be back online.. But its not like all other Raresystem's or old Raresystem you maybe know.. Its more Pure Luck.. and be there on the Right Spot to the Right time to see the Rare. They will spawn to OBV. that he youngest Young player will see that there is something wrong.. But i think they will working on it to when the time comes for it.

Yeah man as far as stealable rares i dont think there is many. There is a rare system that stuff spawns on the ground and you can just pick it up. As far as stealable i believe there is a few crappy osi ones like the metal coils. Idk. Also i could be totally wrong because im fairly new

Definitly dont let that turn ya off tho man there is a ton of rares and all that that you can steal from players lol and im sure they will do alot more with this when they get the time. As far as ive seen the staff is really busting ass trying to add more and more and this server is awesome and a great population. I also made a theif here for stealing and am addicting if that counts for anything
