Quitting Council of Mage Problem

I was trying to go inside the Council of Mage at the southern tip of Moonglow but I wasn't able to enter there. I was hoping to go inside to resign from the faction. Is this the right place? I thought it's located at the stronghold in there???

I tried clicking on the stone close to the Brit Bank (if that's the same one you referred to) and it didn't give me the option for resignation.

Type [faction and it gives you the option to leave

CoM base is back at Magi since Magi got rebuild by @Guybrush Threepwood

I tried to resign and the system said it will be removed by Feb 20 , time...but it's Feb 22 today?? System issue?
