Question on mounts...summonable?

I've just been using the standard horse. I was at a healer after dying a few days ago and another ghost arrived. The person rezzed and then appeared to be able to "summon" a mount.

I'm not familiar with this. Are there certain mounts you can just summon at will?

Also a question on runebooks...

If I just buy a blank one from a vendor is it automatically "blessed" so it will be in pack even after death?

Your fellow resee was in possession of an ethereal mount. These are available on the donation vendor or sometimes sold by other players for gold. When not mounted, the ethereal is a statute in your pack.

All rune books are blessed. Just make sure you keep it in your main pack.
