Question about UO AutoMap/Razor

I have learned that I am unable to Alt-Tab with the game window set to Full Screen and max in-game resolution, the client just crashes (I have a work around for that when needed). I am not really able to play the game when not in Full Screen due to needing the play area window set to 800x600 and the "zoomed in" effect that it creates.

Is there a way to mimic this effect with the Razor Force Resolution option? I've tried several different settings and while I can make the play area window huge, it seems rather zoomed out from what I am used to.

With the above problem of needing to be in Full Screen mode, I am unable to get the UO AutoMap to sit on top of the UO client. I could of sworn that it used to back in the day, am I missing something? I know to double click the map window to Set to Top, but when I make the game full screen again, it drops behind the client.

yeah i was just thinking that, turning the monitor resolution down and adjust the size in razor to fit well and still not be in fullscreen mode

I have been playing with the Razor Resolution and while the play area is huge and overlooking the large areas of black squares, the in-game items are just to tiny for me to see properly.

As for resetting my monitor resolution, I can try that, but I know after a bit it will become tedious switching it from normal (1920x1080) to game size, and then back to normal size again after every play session. I may just have to cope with not being able to use my UO AM. Not a big deal in the end I suppose.

I tried to do some screenshots, but I am not able to upload them.

You should see what UO looks like on a 4k monitior. You think it is small now, imaging 4x smaller. The images are nice and crisp but good luck trying to find your black pearl. I wish there was a way to scale the image resolution without going to full screen mode.

I wouldn't be able to play on something like that. Right now it seems like my best option might be to dust off one of the old monitors I have in the closet and use it as a dedicated UO screen.
