Power scroll turn in system

Create a turn in vendor for power scrolls. Get points for turning in power scrolls.

Have relics / higher tier power scrolls / titles / champ artifacts as the items on the vendor.

Would increase action at the champs/rdas/events and give the cry babies another way at getting relics. Also would add value to all the toilet paper we have piling up.

I had a similar idea as to where...

You log in, you get a quest daily. like...Kill 30 balrons! get a coin.
kill 300 orcs, get coin
and so on....
Make all coins account bound and have a turn-in system, which rewards are also account bound.

Could be same system, turn in a PS, get a coin, or 2 depending on PS.

Same 'reward/coin' vendor.

i been asking for something like this for a long time , and i cant see any reason why we shouldnt have something like this.

i feel as if it would help out our economy and bring more action once again to rdas, dungeons ect.

Well first step to solving this problem is:
STOP hoarding and trying to sell for such ridiculous prices!!
Aren't you doing that with val hammer swings?

Last hammer guy sold first on shard for 2 mil and averaged 1.5 per the rest of way. You're announcing how you're only selling 1 or 2 and trying to get max out of it.

Same exact concept.

Gotta be more objective.

because i sold the rest for 3 mil each :D so i sold for current market value, and my "swings" never made it to the market but twice. and im not spamming daily selling the same items for weeks, doing fake auctions, fake private bids etc...

IMO

If this idea were to be implemented, people will take the 120 taming PS, QS/molten relic as the dictating prize to exchange the points for. For eg. 10 mil for QS relic requires 100x *useless* 105 PS to be turned in. Now, people will start selling the *useless* 105 PS at 100k per PS. So this will create a consequential rate for even the most useless PS one would have gotten.

This in turn makes it so that people would participate in champs/rda/bosses and that the lucky few (or knowledgeable lot) will get a min. return when investing their time doing the events.

For those that do the champs/rda/bosses regularly, this is a good idea. For those that do not do these stuff regularly, well, back to farming/tmapping/etc to earn gold to buy and buy and buy to hopefully one day get enough to obtain what they want (relic, PS, etc) that could come from the vendor, not forgetting the fact that the prices (as mentioned, dictated by player) continue to rise and rise and rise, meaning if they do not increase their earning rate, they could well never be able to afford it.

So in conclusion, this idea is excellent but one-sided to the people doing champs/rda/bosses, also does not help in the overhyped selling market situation at the moment in UOF. This also has an effect of literally forcing people to change their playing style to champs/rda/bosses instead of enticing them. eg. I like to do tmap hunting to make money but now you made doing champs/rda/bosses somewhat more lucrative, why don't you increase the gold I can find in my treasure chest as well along with this change, better yet, put a PS with a random chance in my chest!

Again IMO, Goldsink that has a direct relation with relics, etc (what players want) is possibly still the key to maintain a sustainable gameworld/economy.

I understand your concerns but I know just spending a couple of hours like 3 (time actually spent in the dungeon excluding recalling out to bank) running around dungeons I'm up to around 10 SS's and only one was useful. So even casual players can farm low grade SS's and turn them into A. the SS they need or B. a SS that will net them a decent profit.

I don't think that SS's will have a price change however a value added to the coins you get from turning in SS's.

If the dev's wanted to they could even put low grade SS's on the dono vendor like your basic combat skills archery, mace, etc and that will stimulate people donating because they will buy the low grade SS's to convert them to Power coins (toots horn).

Just my opinion on the matter.

I have so many useless SS scrolls just taking up space in my house, having something to do with them would be nice.

I have never, ever, ever liked this idea.

PS drops are a crap shoot. Don't need to be able to turn toilet paper into gold, even if it takes a lot of toilet paper. Just keep on plugging til you get a good drop and throw your 105 PS in the street at WBB like we used to on OSI.

idk, I think we consider power scrolls to be toilet paper because the current system is broken. I have lost interest in doing champs/RDAs because they really aren't worth the effort once you have the relics/power scrolls you need. I have done 2 in the last week where as I used to do maybe 4-5 a day. I think putting some use/value to the garbage scrolls would get people interested again. Its pretty bad when you can go pop a coon spawn at any time of the day now, that means people aren't doing them...
