Placing stone oven

Is there some kind magic trick to placing stone oven or am I just f*in stupid?

Have stone oven (east). Every time I try to place it, it just says cannot build that there.

Its a small house but mostly empty. So lots of tile space. I've tried top and bottom floor and both walls.

What gives?

Roof. If it's a custom you need to make a hole for the chimney. If it's a classic then it needs to be on the top most floor (it can go through roofs on classics).

Ok thanks that worked. Ok now my anvil disappeared. So i got another and placed it and it disappeared. I click on where i palced it and it says anvil but it is invisible and i can't smelt by it. I tried axing the spot but nothing.

OK so more to the story. I widen the ccircle of trans and it is under the house...wtf. Won't let me axe it.

Try resyncing? I've never heard of a placeable item like that going under the house.

LOL strange.

So the hearth of the home fireplace or whatever, it can be placed anywhere without difficulty? and that's the one with the stag head?

And this one is just a larger stone fireplace without much extra deco right?
