Bought a beetle how do I bond with it?

You can only feed it raw meat carved from mobs. Real food doesn't work.

In order to bond. One piece of meat first then put it in stable for 7 days then feed another piece of meat and viola!
In order to stay bonding and never to let it go wild - feed a piece of meat once in a while. No need to feed often if you ride on it most of the time or stabling it. Also giving it commands to follow does help to keep its loyalty high.
