Non-marked GM Runebooks don't show "exceptional"

If you choose not to mark a Runebook it does not show up as "exceptional," even if it's exceptionally crafted. I can't point to any other exceptionally crafted item that works like that (not to say that they don't exist, I just am not aware of them). Usually, the item will state that it's exceptional and just not show the maker's name.

I understand this isn't some kind of game changing bug, but it's annoying. This is particularly frustrating for runebooks because they sit in people's pack forever and nobody wants somebody else's character name lingering around in their life 24/7. It's the same reason almost all of the blessed clothing you see is non-marked.

I realize the difference between exceptional and non-exceptional is not significant. But I run a vendor shop and it would be nice for people to know they are getting an exceptional runebook without having my stupid ass name attached. I've resorted to not marking anything, but it just makes it seem like you are selling chincy stuff.

I believe the same is true for BOD Books?

I assume this is a bug, but I guess it could be intended this way.

I'm not familiar with the difference of an exceptional and non exceptional runebook other than the marking. Can you explain please.

Typically exceptional books have max 10 charges, while non exceptional ones don't. You can still make a non exceptional 10 charge book, but it's not likely.

OP is right though.

Idk, ppl ask me all the time to make Gankware brand clothing for them to bless. I guess it depends on your crafters name. But I'd agree that most ppl prefer non-marked clothing to blessed for resale purposes.

BOD books cannot be marked. I sells ton of these and runebooks . IMO, people do not really pay more for exceptionally crafted runebooks, so there isn't much of a reason to want to differentiate between the two. If the devs up the number of charges dramatically on exceptional runebooks, then I could see a reason to sell them separately.
