Newb: Naming Runes?

All my marked runes are coming up as "unknown location" so I can see its going to be near impossible to organise them at a later date. Should I just go get a rune book, would this solve my problem? Or can I actually name my runes, plz help. Thanks

You double click the runes then type the name you want to give it and hit enter. Runebooks are nice to have due to the fact you can carry all those runes around with you in books that won't be lost if you die.

Runebooks are essential--unless you want to lose your runes when you die. Player vendors will sell both filled and unfilled runebooks. Blank ones are generally about 500gp. The filled ones (cities or dungeons) can vary in price. I've seen them go for upwards of almost 10k or as low as about 5k. Look around and you will be set. I always carry, at bare minimum, 3-4 runebooks at all times. A city runebook, a dungeon one, and two that are "my favorites" or friend's houses, etc.

Good luck!

There is a vendor at Yew moongate, the house directly east of the gate, name is Yew Scribe, dressed in a yellow TB faction robe. Should be stocked with a few recall and gate travel scrolls, unmarked runebooks, as well as marked dungeon and city runebooks. Recommend buying a few. :)

Oh, and runebooks are blessed so you won't lose them when you die. Also you can recall directly off of the book by setting a default spot in the book when you target it after casting the recall. Just don't put the book on the ground for someone else to recall of off like I see happen quite often. Otherwise jerks like me might mistake it for being discarded and take it. [emoji14]
