New Player - Not New to UO - PvP Biased

Hey all,

I have been playing UO off and on since 2000. I had a pretty solid streak from 2007-2013(ish) that was mainly focused on dueling/PvP as repetitively slaying monsters disinterests me. Is there a good PvP and/or dueling scene on this shard? Are factions full? Order/Chaos? Guild wars? Dueling pits?

Alot of pvp here. But also alot of drama, according to legend I've provided you with some of the pvp guilds and alittle info about them.
EQMS - Minax, Noobs in purple, wear all purple and get blamed for zerging.
Power - IDK if their factioned, Small group of friends that have been around forever and are elitests.
$ (Money guild) - No factions, Wannabe pvpers who love to use pets.
werkt - I think they are 50/50 pvp/pvm, I've never fought them personally but I see them running about.
Vanq - TB's, Alot of dexxers/tank mages (?)
I know for a fact that UOF has a developing SL guild, and I know there's a CoM guild, not sure who they are. I havn't seen them in a while.

The duel pits are always filled with people, alot of them have ego's and rage about everything, so don't get to invested in friendships.

Power is SL and factions often, EQMS Is a bad zerg. $ guild is vanq. Werkt is TP the red SL guild if I'm not mistaken and there's another blue guild that had red SL. CoM has its groups and some of them run tb chrs as well. Just making the above post a little bit more accurate.

Ya, i knew power was faction but didn't want to put CoM cause i wasn't 100% sure.

Ya but I don't get to pvp much. I have 2 kids, I work full time and shit. Uo isn't really my life. I do troll the forums a lot, but that's just cause I work at a PC all day.

This past weekend was my first day of a good 2-3 hours of pvp. We fought your guys at a champ. We died but we killed like 20 people before that. Was a damn riot.

I read on a different post about duel pits having some template shit, as well as free resources??? Do you even need to level a character in order to duel? What kind of dueling system is it? 5x, 7x, Alchy, etc?

You do not need to level a character to take advantage of the templates feature. You can set up duels for any of the above mentioned formats and will be applied with a 7x template while in the duel with free resources.

That said, leveling a character here is quite easy and shouldn't take more than a few days afk macroing.

So I could roll in like a boss in my newbie robe and go duel. Also, sure it's easy to level up afking. But, without resources, there's not much I can do.
