New player introduction

Truequiver

Neophyte
Greetings!

Truequiver here from Seattle, Washington. Played 15 years or so but still have unfinished business with Ultima Online. I've never been in a guild larger than 5 people, done champion spawns, and have only grazed the highest levels of crafting.

Part of the fun for me is going from scratch rags to riches so I'm not looking for handouts. What I get I like to earn. Some advice on what to earn and the server's particulars would be appreciated. :)

See you in game!

Welcome to the server.

Here are a few things you need to get rolling:

A provoke archer. This will make you tons of money without much upkeep.

A recall macro that opens your runebook and uses a charge to take you to a safe spot, bind this to 1 key and use it when you see reds.

If you need some starter gold, armor, or weapons, hit me up, or check the new player crates inside brit just off the north corner of the bank.

Welcome to the shard!

While tamers are the kings of PvM/gold making, bards are indeed the cheapest to keep going. For 2k you can buy anything you need for PvM (instrument & exceptional weapon [as a minimum]).

The Free City of Trinsic is a good guild if you're looking for PvM, PvP (Trinsic Guard), Navel warfare (Red Rum Pirates), or even a little bit of RP (not everyone does it, but plenty of people will join in). Lots of other great guilds too, even an Orc guild is around somewhere.

See my signature for reasons not to join EQMS; their own posts speak volumes. :p
