Not long after agreeing to this deal on the forum *and* PM, the seller tells me it is sold to another buyer.

There should be some official warnings for this kind of crap, then repeat offenders should get banned.

Just note the seller and never trust them again. I agree renegging on an agreed upon price should result in some sort of reprocussion. Bannable though not quite as he just got another higher offer, but all auctions should have all bids posted, PMs not counting. If you are PMd put it in the thread and give others time (most give 24 hours some 48) since last bid.

Thats why an ebayish review system would be awesome to know how bad a buyer/seller is.

Yes, nail me to a cross because the person who made the offer took their sweet time and I made a financial decision to more than double my money (which btw I truly needed since I only had 33k to my name after buying a 7x7 last night). Ban hammerz away moderators. This is the scam of the century.
