Making Beds with the new woods

I made an ashwood bed and placed it, but when turned back into a deed it turned into a normal wood bed.

Is it just the deed itself (while in your pack) that loses the hue? Or when you place the item in your house for a second time, is it also the normal wood hue?

When you make the item the deed is in the hue of the wood. When you chop the item the deed comes back the normal color.
