Hi everyone

Im considering creating a mage bard, for power cash generaying. But I have a question about the extra skill.
It would obviously have,
Magery
Eval int
Medit
Res spells
Music
Provo
But what about the 7th skill? Some suggest wrestlig, others invis. What about healing or peace? I really want to get it right...

I'd go with wrestling. The 7th skill isn't to hard to change so you can test out different skills and find out what suits you the best.

Wrestling makes people hit you less often. Without wrestling you're going to get hit almost every time by dexxers and stun mages will stun you more.

Yes its for pvm but you do get attacked by reds. If you do, you want to make sure you have the best chances possible to successfully recall

What do you mean with "5x mage/bard"? And yes, he is only a means to an end, a quick and low cost cash generator

5x mage = gm magery, gm eval, gm med, gm resist, gm wrestle. Bard was meant as gm music, gm provocation.

Don't take hiding, as a mage you have an invis spell. I hear you, that you want it for reds and is quicker than a spell but wrestling is far better for the 100 points.

I have what I think of as a pretty cheap PvMer because of how quick he was to build compared to how quickly he generates gold.

You don't "need" EI vs monsters. Provoke, drop some EVs, sit back, and shoot with bow. Keep enough mana to recall at all times and never be less than 100% health for more than a few seconds.
On average it's about 1k gold per minute + magic weapons and skill scrolls in the right hunting spots.

exactly.... if your after gold, fuck wrestling... whats wrestling going to do when your being chased down by a gank squad + spawn........ if you have hidiing you'll get the spawn on the pkers and you have a oppurtunity to recall out

That doesn't sound like a bad idea. I certainly can hide faster with the skill rather than the spell. Its a shame that I cant use provo while staying hidden though...

Yup hiding is great for Provo. Provo your mobs and hide. Keeps the pks off ya, keeps thieves off ya, keeps wandering mobs off ya.

Very peaceful farming with hiding in the template.
