Macroing mana drain in town......Got guard wacked

MAcroing mana drain in town got wacked by the guards again....I see people doing it all day and this is the second time i tried to macro in town and it kills me instantly....

in this case it is likely that you had someone who was blue queued for your next target, so when you casted the spell, it automatically targeted last target and hence you performed a criminal action.

if you are using razor, the easiest method for disabling this is in the Options tab, simply de-select Queue Last target and target Self

yeah that's weird because it says Exec: target self in the macro....

Yes but queued last target will take priority over the macro targeting self

ok so if i wana macro magery i just need to do it by it self with nothing else using targeting?

Yes and make sure you manually target yourself before starting the macro

Have your macroer say "guards" repeatedly while macroing in town to avoid being killed by released pets :}
