Just smack a parry dexer with a hatchet for lj...will raise very fast then scroll out when you have had enough.

Mining is pretty easy as well in the orc caves.
Might want to remember to bring some good tribuut though. I heard the locals can be a bit...uncouth! HAR!

What would be good tribute? I love me some safe passage! Ale and food? Clothes and weapons? How about some armor made from human bones?

Mining:
- Not allowed.
- Skills up fairly fast, especially in the orc caves.
- It can also be trained by melting ore, so technically having an ore pile at home and melting them one by one is allowed. However I do think there is a penalty for gaining skills inside a home so you might want to possition you on your doorstep while doing so.

- Skills up fairly fast up until 100, beyond that it's an absolute nightmare.
- Highly recommended to just by the scrolls when you can no longer deal with the attended woodchopping.

You really just need 20 LJ scrolls if you dont want to do actual chopping to get gains. The only chopping you have to do to get skill gain is when you are already GM. Anything below can be afk macro'd fighting another alt with a hatchet which is legal afk.
