lock can not be picked by normal means

lock can not be picked by normal means, anyone be able explain what this means please, pretty new to game

i think that means you need either higher lockpicking skill or you need to use magic unlock? but this wouldnt be the first time i was wrong..

Pretty sure thats a bugged chest. Ice dungeon right? I'm GM picking and I get the same message

they where both in khaldun, trying train up to GM from 95,

"By normal means" means its a chest that needs 120 magery to unlock, but magery PS aren't available on this server.
