I put a starting bid so no one started the bid any lower than that but i didn't put a buyout price because I wanted to see people make offers and bid. I'm obviously not happy with this and it's closed.

If i set the buyout amount to 25m and he offered that then the price would be met but I said start bidding at 25m.

normal is the the start bid the lower price you would sell it for.

25mil is pretty much what the last lvl 7 sold for.

well maybe i messed up the format but I didn't intend to i'm new to making an auction and i thought i could bring in some people wanting to bid on it. Maybe i should have put a max bid or put a timeline on the bid.

That isn't how auctions work...
Your start bid should be the minimum you will take. Otherwise put a specific reserve price.
