Legendary repair deeds vs GM?

I'd like to know if there are things that GM repair deeds won't be able to repair? The price gap between the two can be over 100 gp. Thanks!

Yikes! paying 100 or more for a repairs seems a bit much to me If the two makes a difference at all, it would be toward the higher end gear (platemail). but as far as I know, one is just as good as the other.
