No cap 1gbps up and down stream, but, my neighborhood hasnt been officially chosen, but was listed on the new areas on tv last night. And no, dick, it wont help my uo skills, but, I can watch youporn in hd with no lag so there is that. Seriously though my ping averages 35 to 40 now, three miles away at my moms house it is half that and shes has the fiber lines slated to start in her neighborhood guaranteed so I wonder if thats affected anything over there. Im not a tech guy really, I just know its supposed to be the shit.

I heard Kansas City was getting google fiber about a year ago. I am a tech guy focused more on networking but yeah. Fiber is the shit. It is probably overkill for what you are wanting to do with it anyway. I am surprised they are not capping bandwidth though. Seems like a pirates wet dream.
