Don't know if this has happened to others, but there was an island blocking our MIB location. Just thought I'd bring it up...

If I remember correctly you can fish through the ground of the floating islands. It has been a while since I have fished up a Mib so I may be wrong.
If targeting manually doesn't work try using a macro that will target the proper z height of the water.

If it’s one of the square dono islands, if the pull-up spot is under the island, just fish beside the island. The range for mibs in these loc’s jumps from 10 to like 30 tiles. If it’s under the raffle island you might be out of luck. Only ever had one out of hundreds under islands I couldn’t fish up tho, so I’d try getting as close as you can and trying that first
