Is the Grotto still open?

And....I heard only boats get you there....so no marking or recalling in and out? or I take my baot there and can recall out once I'm done, and then recall to my boat again(as long as it's not sunk) Is tehre anything farm-able in there and worth it?

You have to sail out there. Whether or not you leave your boat deployed to recall to it (off of the key) or drydock it and keep sailing back is up to you. But no, you cannot mark a rune there.
