go to adobe flash player web site and DL new version

i tried and dl new adobe and patched, still didnt work, ended up just downloading mirc program

Not sure if this'll help you but I had the same problem due to my laptop's McAfee BS:

P.S. If you're tethering through your cell phone or connecting to a mobile hotspot you might get that error, 2031. Happens to me all the time at work when I try to get on IRC through my phone's 4G hotspot.

Lately I've also been experiencing this mysterious error through Opera, but not with Firefox. Have you checked a different browser?
