Invasions ?

Are invasions event a regular thing ?
I got lucky to be exceptionally still on late to witness it last weekend and find it very fun. However are those announced anywhere ?

Most aren't no. I haven't been in game too much lately, but sometimes they happen around 11-2am EST, atleast some recent ones were. I think the team is real busy right now, so invasions may be far and few between.
