Insane lag?

Today i have been getting insane laggy patch's that last about 5 mins anyone else?

it doesn't seem to be a issue with my isp and only affect uof

I think that's a little excessive. I notice intermittent lag spikes, but nothing worth quitting over.

We triggered Rikktor and then the lag hit really bad today, not sure if it was linked to that or not.

I'm fine now, but last night my in game ping was hitting 3500 ms. DOS prompt insisted it was only 100 ms, but the game refused to believe it.

Server was unplayable for around 45 minutes about 12 hours ago - although I didn't notice any other issues other than then. All good now though!

yea ive had the rubber banding all week thats not to bad.

this was different it last 5 mins and i was pinging about 5k. its happened 2 or 3 times since about 11am GMT. i thought mayb down to shit weather in the US

I created a lag thread a few weeks ago, and even commented on a few... My issues seemingly resolved themselves. I still get some lag, especially around lots of highly decorated houses or very populated areas... generally speaking though my lag is minimal nowadays. From Idaho, 12Mbps DSL

The lag is ridiculous at this point. I'm tired of dying to FS zergs because I get 500ms lag spikes. I have a new found respect for Aussie and EU players. Too much for me, I'll come back if they get a new server.

500 is nothing, I was pushing almost 4k ping couple days ago, lol

We added the lag in for nostalgia purposes..


Just kidding lol

We are working on this, we believe it could be in fact something to do with many champions running at one time.

I was getting pretty bad lag (1000ms average) last night but only in the dungeons. Didn't matter what dungeon.... I've also been watch the number of people online lately during peak hours and while I've only been here for a few weeks it seems like the population has been increasing (which is an awesome thing - puts the "massive" back in MMO) :)

Thank you Shane, for bringing back fond memories of my 56k youth. In all seriousness, I have noticed when we activate champs, particularly Coon and Rikktor, the lag spikes quite frequently - unplayable with Rikktor.

yesterday i paged carl and he said its because i am euro i lagg but now i see this thread ... i guess its not only me carl ;)

How do you check your in game ping? It's been unplayable for me the last couple of days. I walk one or two tiles then stop completely constantly.
