Infected Wounds is arguably the least effective of all the meta dexxer / mage relics. Zerkers are however already insanely powerful, so any change to Infected Wounds would need to be a sensible one! I know some people have individually raised the ineffectiveness of Infected Wounds but there isn't much of a record on the forums.
What changes would you make to the relic? Would you adjust it slightly or change it altogether?
Some ideas:
- Rend: Blood ticks rather than poison so that poison resist would no longer blocks application
- Frenzied state: Temporarily increases swing speed or hit chance against monsters, uses agility potion for charges
- War cry: Similar but lesser effect to discord, weakens the monster temporarily, only applies to your damage
- Weapon throw: Ranged attack which hurls your weapon at monster
